The Sustainable India Finance Facility (SIFF) is a partnership of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), BNP Paribas & World Agroforestry Centre. It is a diplomatic entity based in Delhi, with a field office in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. In essence, it is attempting to leverage private capital for public good (like sustainable land use in agriculture, biodiversity, restoration, and in renewable energy) to support India in achieving its sustainable development goals and climate change targets. It works with both private & public stakeholders, across sectors. At present, it is supporting the Government of Andhra Pradesh in their ZBNF program to transition 6 million farmers from chemical farming to low-cost, low-input regenerative agriculture by 2024-25.
